Revenue said the seizure was the result of "routine profiling".

Passed the bungalows that were built for the travelers behind Mahon Point earlier and there were guards everywhere, including the armed response unit.

Anyone know what happened there?

I'm told that the only way Gardai can get proper access to such sites at the moment is if they arrive in large numbers.

Purely speculation on my part but maybe it is connected in some way to the discharge of a fire-arm last week in NOT Spring Lane.

Gardai traditionally always arrive in large numbers to such sites, its the Gardai's culture boss.

I know a couple who'll just drive in in a single squad car - but they know they're very much confined to certain areas. If they want to inspect the whole site they need to go in "mob handed"
