If you think I’m either sexist or xenophobic you’ve not been paying much attention - but imho there’s a special place in hell reserved for the likes of vdl. She is well able to condemn Russia for invading Ukraine but thinks nothing of what Israel does in Gaza.

Only this morning MM (him that at one stage was pointing out a hole in a ceiling while a genocide was underway a few miles down the road) was saying that Germany were likely to block an EU wide ban on trade with the Occupied Territories.

VDL and her ilk want us all to share the collective German guilt for the Holocaust yet at the same time want to give Israel carte blanche to carry out similar treatment of Palestinians. And vdl uses her huge influence to back the Zionist project to the hilt

Personally I think she is probably the most reprehensible politician with power in the EU

You call it German guilt but in all fairness Germany can’t be seen to be doing anything other than broadly supporting Israel. They are the one country who have no moral authority to lecture Israel on the genocide in Gaza.

Sorry now but Genocide is utterly wrong and should be called out by everyone - irrespective of what their grandfathers or great grandfathers did 80+ years ago.

Turning a blind eye to two genocides in 80 years would NOT be a good look for Germany imho

heard it there on the radio, round 9pm, early for a lad to be so agitated I would have thought but perhaps the fella was out for the Cork match and by 9pm he was full up. Very sad either way as it sounds like a bit of a tragedy as opposed to anything untoward but I have no details bar the news bulletin.
