Different sport thank god! Imagine the auld biddies in the Camogie association will be in running the GAA in the next few years.. that is a frightening thought

I see there was another game yesterday in Leinster where the players came out in shorts. Ref told them to change, which they did.
To me that looks worse, like the authorities are completely in control.
The players would be better not to wear the shorts at all in protest unless they are going to stick with it. The backing down before throw in looks very weak.

He's not wrong. There's a chance for a team to make a stand and the only ones that were willing to do it was Cork, and to a lesser extent the Waterford team following suit

And the way Ashling Thompson spoke on taking the consequences if Waterford were handed the trophy... that tends to suggest where it came from. I think Waterford would have gone through with it btw.

In a way, all of this is far better than if the motion had passed at the last Congress.

Certainly at our club parents are way more invested now there's a cause and a wrong to be righted.
