Yup - but the DAA set the ground rules up there and can make it more or less advantageous for Airline companies. Remember when Ryan Air wanted to make Cork Airport and the old terminal a hub but the Dublin AA said no sireee bob!

And do you what would have happened if they did that, we would have no other airlines there except for Ryanair and probably 1 Aer Lingus service to Heathrow.

Aer Dumplin firmly put all their eggs in one basket and that basket has fallen.
All they were interested in over the last few years was new flights to various places in the US.
Since that prick became President there, passenger numbers have fallen big time.

They are up against Ryanair on European flights so they are in a spot.
