I don't know, the flight times are a bit fucked too.. you generally fly Monday to Thursday/Friday in short haul flights for business, and Friday night to Sunday for leisure, or for long haul stuff.

Going to Tenerife from Tuesday to Tuesday is pretty useless in that regard.

Did you try a package holiday via a tour operator? They probably fly weekends.

17pc cheaper, in fairness, given that Dublin is the countries main airport, I would have expected Cork to be a lot cheaper than that.

The flight to Rome was always packed, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
It was the only way for Italians to go to Southern Italy directly from Cork. It was also a good connection for the Greek community to go to Athens.

Emerald Airlines aka Little Aer Lingus today announced the resumption of the Cork Bristol service, that Stobart used to operate.
This is a welcome return of the ATR 72's to Cork after Ryanair pawned them of all the old Stobart routes out of Cork to UK after Covid.

Bristol is a handy spot for a weekend/3-day jaunt. Great restaurants, bars/pubs and some savage gig venues.
