Hilarious how many people down through various generations think that it’s OTHER people have sh*t taste in music.

Enjoy what music you enjoy and let other people enjoy what they like. Even individual’s choice in music can change over years. I know mine has
Whats hilarious about it?
Most people are bordering on tone deaf, have no understanding of music and like absolute dross pumped out for the masses.
So yes, loads of people have shit taste in music.

i used to think like that when i was younger.

Then i turned 24 and realised people can listen to whatever brings them enjoyment and it’s not for me to decide if their taste is good or bad simply because i don’t agree with it.

Same I saw their big reunion gig in 2006 in the Olympia

The whole crowd were talking about what mental shit Fearghal McKee was going to do.

Went to see the Brian Jonestown massacre similarly just to see if the lead singer was going to do anything crazy.

He didn’t but they were surprisingly decent i thought. Definitely had more substance to them than just hype.

"Not if you were the last junkie on earth" by the Dandy Warhols was apparently written about him

Says the man who claims he has eclectic taste in music and backs it up by saying that he has seen both Elton John and Billy Joel live...

;-) ;-) ;-)

As well as seeing a list of various others live including Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Smokie, U2, Mama's Boys, Thin Lizzy, Don McLean, Johnny Cash, Rod Stewart, The Beat, The Specials, Wacko Jacko, Status Quo, Kim Wilde, a myriad of Irish acts and innumerable bands in the Arc and all the Siamsa's etc etc.

My missus used love U2 and Van Morrison - both of which I've seen a number of times but think are over-rated tbh.

Even the best bands have crap songs and some crap bands can have great songs imho. Listening to music aint as black and white as some would have you believe

van is overrated?( live performances perhaps?) hilarious comment... one of the all time great singer songwriters... in the same league as Dylan and McCartney..definitely a studio artist however.. where is at his best making incredible albums..
