Not necessarily. It depends on whether we're talking about "Ireland", the island (which is what most people would understand it to be) or "Ireland" as in the description of the state in the Constitution.
Anyway, we can agree, I'm sure, that Ireland the island is a pretty nice place, scenerywise.
 
Don't see how Killarney can be regarded as charming. The surrounding area and scenery yes but the town itself is like a leprechaun theme park.

And that is where the money lies. People come for the leprechauns, tiny houses, front doors you have to kneel to get into.

Anyhoo clifden wins Imo. Best town in the country for what the tourists actually want when they come to Ireland.
