Not sure if Cobh and Kinsale would be my top two picks for Charming towns in Cork tbh. Down west you'd be putting the likes of Clon, Skib, Baltimore, Ballydehob, etc ahead of those two.

I would say Clon and those other towns are nicer than Cobh, it's not a town I like much. Kinsale is charming though, has some good food. It must be the fact they're by the sea maybe that they were picked.

Cobh has always been a crap kip imo.

Cobh is woeful.
Like a dying British seaside town.
Needs a cuisine revolution and would be a goldmine.
