Club transfers 2024

How have I moved goalposts? 🤷‍♂️

The transfer forms don’t include the reason for transfer. If they did I’d imagine the most common reason would be ‘I want to play with my friends in school’.

Not sure that’s a good enough reason.
No wonder so many people hate the GAA.

It’s a sad state of affairs if people hate the GAA because clubs want to hold on to their best players.

Transfers aren’t forbidden at all in Cork. They are allowed under very reasonable circumstances. 48 weeks is nothing if you play your last game in August.

Yes. I don’t think I’ve said anything to contradict that?
so Cill na Martra should have restrictions on juvenile players coming in to the club?

They have 44 kids in the local national school yet they are fielding independent club teams at 12, 14, 16 & 18

What if a club like the Glen got relegated last year and again this year at adult level? Would they then be allowed transfer in who they want?

You seem to be well knowledgeable on CNM so can I ask how many transfers in have they had per year recently?
