Club transfers 2024

Cherrypicking eh, says the fella who wants Imokilly gone out of the Championship because the poor aul senior clubs can’t beat them. Douglas have absolutely huge numbers and do fuck all with them. Numbers aren’t a guarantee of anything. The reality is the stronghold of Cork hurling is East Cork, not the City.
I have said this before and I will say this again

I have no issue with anyone playing Premier Senior once they are then tied to senior hurling

If the great club of Imokilly weee in senior championship under the same rules as the senior clubs how many of the 500+ players available to them would then play with them?

Take your time

They have won one county in the last 5 years, don’t worry, we know how to beat them alright 😀

And that’s a legitimate point. We both none answer. Do tell then, what protections would you give to Junior and Intermediate clubs to stop their best players being cherrypicked?

Micheál Mullins.
Michael has made the extremely difficult decision to leave his home club to better his carreer.

You might think he’s right or wrong but that is his decision and the only club he could have joined under the transfer rules were the Glen

Like it or not the Glen didn’t poach or cherrypick him, he made the decision himself

Can you not respect that?

I’m sure it happened exactly like that alright and that there was no soft approaches of any kind.
