Seems to be a very low-key build up this year.

Money back up to €5 with Bet 365 on the Supreme. Skybet only giving a €2 freebet. Paddy Powers offering freebet Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday online and also a freebet in the shops on the Tuesday. Boyles going money back on the first race as well as their usual money back if 2nd to the SP fav. Keep an eye out on extra places as well folks, very important if betting each-way.

Thanks OT m8. I’m betting to win but not betting often. The fun is in the winning. Last year Cheltenham+Cork hurlers, I was lucky to win a few quid. After that, since then, I had 3 bets up until now (all documented on the official betting thread). +700 euro (won 1, lost 2). At least, I can’t be accused of aftertiming.

Tough old day tomorrow. I'll be keeping it low and slow for the Supreme and Arkle. Maybe small beans on Leader d'Allier just because of the Mullins/Townend angle.

I'll back a few in the Ultima: Resplendent Grey and Myretown anyway. Maybe Iroko if it drifts a little.

Any strong opinions on Kopek des Bordes being so lightly raced over fences? I wouldn't want to be getting too big into the laying game, especially WM, but it's tempting.

It's a concern alright. He's by far the speediest horse in the race and only 7 runners helps I think. I have backed him at 13/8 and he-s slightly shorter now. I think he'll either win or fall.
