Ground floor jacks...The Oliver Plunkett, The Old Oak, The Long Valley, Crane Lane (doubt they'd be open and showing it??) Rob Roy, Clancy's (not great viewing space in that Arthur's Bar, but great if you get a spot right in front of the big screen).Looking for a little help there please fellow racing Proccers; Usually watch the 4 days in the pubs of Blackpool but looking this year to maybe pop into town for one of the days (Wednesday or Thursday), any recommendations? The only criteria I have are that a) I have a good view of the tv(s) and can here the commentary and b) the toilets are on the ground floor (Shout-out to the hill-climb to the jacks in Larry Tomkins back in the day). I was half-thinking of the Wool-Shed but I'm probably too old to be in there on me own and not sure if it'd be open at 12:30 ....

Counihan's is barely open on a Saturday at 9pm these days. Would they definitely open for it?Counihans, which shows the races every day.
If they don’t open for Cheltenham, stick a fork in it.Counihan's is barely open on a Saturday at 9pm these days. Would they definitely open for it?
