After getting bloody nose after bloody nose, the big question is, will the Irish punters have any cash left for Paddy's weekend?
Very few id imagine.I wonder how many actually enjoy the horse racing without a bet. I'm very happy to say that I do. There was a time I got badly into betting but fortunately I was able to pull the plug. Have always loved the racing, both flat and jumps. I love to see us sticking it to the neighbours too.
Does Benny give slates to regulars?Bennys racing pubs will be empty tonight, nobody will be able to afford a pint
Good stuff. Fwiw, I think Aintree is a much better day out than Cheltenham these days.I only had one day of gambling this year on Wednesday, got cleaned out on the racing but that craic was savage and that’s all I care about tbh.
I just enjoy the atmosphere around Cheltenham and keep my bets small.
I also know absolutely fuck all about racing
A few of my friends are talking about making the trip up to Punchestown this year, I’m considering heading up.Good stuff. Fwiw, I think Aintree is a much better day out than Cheltenham these days.
Yeah, absolutely and far less messy than Cheltenham. It's on Tuesday to Saturday.A few of my friends are talking about making the trip up to Punchestown this year, I’m considering heading up.
Would be a good day out
@Happyhonkaman reality and practicality has kicked in and I've layed off some for both the Munster and AI. I don't think we'll win Munster but if it were down the Pairc, I'd be more optimistic. Depending on the performance tomorrow evening, I still think we have a squeak of winning the AI.Thanks HonkY. At least I'm putting up my bets before races/events, unlike others.
As I said, these are my only bets all week.
Even if the single comes in, I'll not be laying off any of it.
Lol.Only 9 months, or so, 'till we see (and hear) the Cheltenham Martyrs, once again.
