Cheltenham 2026

Wodhooh and HeartWood pay the bills yesterday where we were well taken care of in the very excellent Gerald Griffin bar in Blackpool . Would highly recommend the new Pizzeria next to Seamus Reilly's who nourished us before the day culminated in the supremely talented Brian Morey. Last day lads, heading in to town for it.

Proactif
Sinnatra
Panic Attack
Kripticjim
Haiti Couleurs
Con's Roc
Sa Fureur / Wendrock / Open Secret / Stede Bonnet (In other words the Gordon Elliott horse)

Hope ye clean them out folks.
Was glad to have backed a few winners in the first 3 days, yesterday was a total wipeout. Not even the usual barrage of FOMO bets could save the day.
We went to town , took in a few different bars , all were busy and ended the day like many a day out in the late 80's/early 90's grabbing a Snack Box in Hillbillys on the Grand Parade (Shout out to Bill & Bobs).

Counihans first - €7.60 a pint!!!! Considering we were drinking on Blarney Street for €5.20 on Wednesday
The Old Oak was next , lots of older/elderly people in there, turns out the bar has a membership card for the pensioners that gets them pensioners prices, decent idea to be fair.
Oliver Plunkett next for a decent trad session
Finished off in Clancy's.
Lots of gardai on duty so we felt safe walking around

YOU felt safe, Porgy, but what about the rest of the citizens at home by the Lee? Probably shiteing their pants with the sight of ye staggering towards 'em in the early evening.

Looking back, that was some performance from Lossiemouth in the Champion Hurdle. 4 wins in a row at the festival for the mare. I’d say Henderson is relieved he didn’t run Constitution Hill in the CH after that performance.

Racing at Plumpton today, The cheltenham bluffers wont be aware of this, Only the die hards will be interested,
Noels will still be packed....it is monday after all,
