Anyone with an iota about the sport knows that horses die regularly. People too, of course. Horses die on the gallops, in fields, during or after races. It is a real part of the sport. They're also treated very well for the most part, more than ever probably. Envoi Allen had a good innings and yes it would have been nice if he'd had a few easy years but it wasn't to be.Animal welfare is our top priority

Home by the Lee is 11 ,won a hurdle race over 3 miles with 12 to jump. No comparison...But yeah.
