When I was i school we used get the bus to Limerick to play the Stab City teams in rugby.
On the way back we used always stop in Rossi's Charleville for chips. I remember the chips as always being really nice.

The M20 motorway to bypass the town and an end to that feud are two things that need to happen for Charleville to be able breathe again. A town I try to avoid unless necessary. All they have going for them is a good hurling team and a decent Lidl/Aldi at each end of the town.

Charleville Park Hotel is a nice spot. Stayed there before and stopped off for food etc a few times. Good rooms, decent grub and drinks.

Unfortunately I need to visit this god forsaken place a few times every month for work, It's a complete hell hole full interbreds that wouldn't be out of place in the movie 'The hills have eyes'

But lets be fair most of North Cork (Mallow, Fermoy, Mitchelstown, Buttevant) are complete shitholes, I'd gladly hand them all over to Limerick.

Not being smart but I've always found there's nice looking old dolls coming out of Fermoy.
