cancelling xbox live account

as i expected they dont make it easy. my account is set up to renew automatically and microsoft just send me on link after link to the same shit.

any easy way to do this

I had to ring them, had no choice but. It took about 5 mins but my God they are an odd bunch. The guy spent 2 mins complementing me. Offered me one years free subscription (but never mentioned auto renew would be set to on still) and in the end tried to buy me with 1000 Microsoft points. What the fuck are Microsoft points???

So didn't cancel it, I just set my auto renew to off.
