Camogie 2025

Orlaiths goal was superb - a sublime flick from Sorcha, she picked the ball without breaking stride and finished to the corner.

Saoirses goal was even better - she fielded a great ball and a goal never looked on but she showed amazing skill, bouncing the ball, selling a dummy and then rifling a ball to the net. Galway hadn't conceded a goal in c/ship so this was huge. I can't remember a better goal in a camogie game

Orlaith Cahalane was having a tough enough day of it too. Things just weren't sticking. And then she pulled that out. Just shows the value of keeping doing the right things when things aren't necessarily going your way. Hard work pays off.

On Saoirse's goal, it was made even better by what went before. All day Galway had been conceding the short poc out. I could be wrong but i think it was the first time Amy Lee came out after the short poc out to then drive it long. It was a set play that worked to a tee. What happened when it arrived up the field was just a moment of skill and magic.

That's the kind of stuff a girl would dream about doing. Incredible goal.

Very true.

I posted that we needed a big improvement from the Cahalane Sisters to get the win.

Our FF Line was probably rated the most effective line in the team and both Orlaith and Amy were miles of the pace.

Orlaiths point was huge IMO - I rem thinking 'Great, this will settle her'

I recall Sorchas first year - she was very raw and skills were average but now she is an awesome hurler with everything. Her points from distance were really impressive and I think she meant that flick to Orlaith. We raved about this skill from Brian Hayes.

Great win yesterday. TBF they create a great atmosphere in Croke Park for the camogie finals, the kids loved it

The girls were brilliant yesterday. They weren't playing well in the first half but they stuck in the game. KK were great at doing the same in their day.

Yet again winning ball in the half forward line from a puck out was the winning of the game.

Well done to all involved.

For once let us be positive let everybody enjoy this Cork victory and yes mistakes will occur in the cauldron that is an All-Ireland final, however the Cork Team overcame these mistakes with belief in themselves, determination, skill and ability.

Well done girls well done to all.
We are enjoying it but let's call a spade too. Mistakes from over passing and too much short passing in your own defence are easily avoidable if the team rid of this bad habit. There is no harm in being frank!

Yeah.Great win considering how many players retired or were unavailable but it was a close run thing even tho we should have won by 6 or 7.Well done to all.
