Buying a BMW..

I'm thinking.of buying a BMW. Have the eye on a nice 5series 2007 model. Any advice good or bad that should make me go for it or avoid it.

It would be the end 5 series. I was thinking about heading to the UK to buy one.

The end, what I meant was are you looking at a 520i or d o a 523i, 525i or d, 530 I or d etc etc.. have you looked into them at all?

I posted from my phone and it came out wrong. Never realised.

Of course i checked them out. I don't want a huge engine. A 2L diesel is what I would be looking at.

530d is still economical and a far superior machine, think the tax wouldnt be too bad either. What sort of miles you do if you do low mileage then there are a few jobs you need to keep doing to keep the car right, als bmws burn oil, BMW only acknowledge an issue if you burn more than a litre every 800 miles
