Won't be going anywhere this year so have been annoying myself looking at photo's online of Scopello and Sant Elia in Sicily.

I haven't been in Sicily since 1990 but my dear brother has bought 2 apartments on the North coast and is moving there in September, so all going well I'll be seeing a good bit of it over the coming years.

What ever you do the Scechzenyi baths are non negotiable-you have to go,tis no Lee baths like but it’s somthing else ,
Hungarian red wines are some of the finest in the world ,
Beer is good,
They will rip you off in hotels if exchanging cash,
That famous ruin bar is actually worth a look,
Security is tight in a lot of places and bags are nearly always checked ,
You rarely see police ,you don’t have too..
A lot of the footage of Syrian refugees are train stations time was fabricated by our friends on the right that gifted us Orban ,I was there at the time myself ,
A beautiful city ,
Loads of rock bars .

You should also try to visit the Statue Park of all the Soviet/Communist era statues that were moved out there after 1989.

It's on the Buda side of the Danube, around a 20 min bus journey. I was in Budapest 20 years ago - it's a great city.

Best thermal baths to check out are the old Rudas baths by the river. They date from the 16th century and are the real deal.
