Budapest.

If by some kip you mean a genuine Hungarian bar near the centre with actual Hungarian staff and a perfectly clean jacks then yeah Id rather pay half price.
Obviously if you want the 'Irish' tourist experience you pay double but to imply the local experience is more dirty or less comfortable is bullshit.
Sure why wouldn't you bring your Gaa shirt also on a 4 day break and look like a complete brain-dead shithead as well!
Legend.

Jewish quarter if your after some night life, old man’s club still going good live music after all these years , Szimplica Kert nearby good spot ..in summer lots excellent of outdoor bars pop up…Try RudasThermal baths less touristy and Gellert is closed for revocations last time was there few months back..Great city enjoy..

Even if I wanted to pay a bit more Id rather go to a Hungarian ruin bar then an Irish bar. Irish bars have their place, they're handy when you're on your own and want to get your bearings, watch a match or tap an Irish guy for info but tbh with the internet all the info is now on your phone and I stop drinking stout in pubs once I leave Ireland.

🙂
My wife and I are heading there for four days at the end of the month.
What's it like price/quality wise for food and drink?
Good places to go and see and areas to avoid?
Advice appreciated folks.
Enjoy it Lee.

Won't be going anywhere this year so have been annoying myself looking at photo's online of Scopello and Sant Elia in Sicily.

Christ on a bike like, I'd never come back.
