imagine my shock when i heard over the weekend that Gorillaz "Dare" got to number 1 in the UK charts.

in fairness to Damon Albarn, how many other musicians have transformed from indie-pop to elecronica and done both very very well like.

yer man is a genius. to do two divergent different forms of modern music is darn hard to do.
