Don't see why they can't just fork android like GrapheneOS does. Motorola announced a deal with them lately so we might see their stuff shipping sans Google as an option soon.

Getting off the Play Store is a big draw for apps too.

The Legislation is in place, etc.

I'm on OxygenOS at the moment, it's always been great, but I'd love to see a viable alternative to that, closer to home.
