Best cork hurler to never win an all ireland medal

Leaving out the period 2007-2021 who is the best player to retire without an all ireland medal.

By all accounts, Jimmy Brohan of Blackrock was superb corner back and although a sub in 1954, never won an AI on the field, retiring year or two before 1966 win - back in the days when 12 years was considered a famine!!

Terry Kelly of Tracton another fine hurler apparently but great Tipp team of late 50s/early 60s meant he never won an AI.
