Happy Days!

Hannah Barrett's, the old Silver Goblet, has a great beer garden.
Been in there a few times and never knew that it had a beer garden
And of course the one that used be an absolute cracker, and may depending on the planning laws be reverting to one, The Anglers Rest - think that's technically within the City now.
Place to be seen. I, for one, won't be having any zeros thereSeen a few gaybos sitting outside there as well
Where's that,on Shandon St somewhere? Don't know any park around thereBeer gardens are shite IMO.
If you want to sit outdoors drinking then just head to the offie and sit literally anywhere in Cork. The Five-0 have bigger fish to fry these days than lads sipping a few beers in public.
I frequently have a few bottles with my friends in the little park by Shandon. Nobody cares, just be decent and clean up your rubbish.
We had our wedding reception out there back in the day.
The Anglers garden was great. Back in the 1980s I spent many a brilliant Saturday afternoon there when the weather was good. Drive home to Bishopstown after 3/4 pints of Heineken. Sunday's weren't as good as it used to be full of kids and Norries.![]()
