Best of luck with it Benny
Getting them drinking at 16.I believe that 16 should be the legal age tbh,
I’ve always stated it,
We were regulars in city pubs from the age of 14,
Difference was you didn’t make a claim if you fell and the Gardai would thump the daylights out of you if you caused trouble ,
Happy days in the old Courthouse .
Bring back the phunt up the ass.
Now you simply can’t afford to be “in general “ 18 s say as the levels of maturity are so diverse ,your insurance would be in tatters and you’d be out business in a year ,that’s the one major issue ,
What I do for my customers is let them bring in their youngsters for a pint when they turn18,some 18 year olds are like old men and some are like kids ,
They fathers wont bring them in it the think they will cock up in their local and a good example is set for all,
It’s a shame it’s gone this way ,
I’ve regular customers that are 18 19.20 and so on but unless I’m introduced via their parents, guardians or older siblings we would be slow to do it ,
The prevalence of really astonishingly high quality fake Garda ids also make it not with your while ,passport only ,
I’d be as I always have been delighted to welcome parent and newly minted 18 year olds to the pub and take from there ,
I’d be happy to look after any on here .
