"Belfield" Where did they get that name? Another meaningless and pretentious address.

At least the Abbey part does have a connection with the historical "Bóithrín na Manach"

Better than Upper and Lower Kensington catapulted from London to Rochestown I suppose.

A lot of those names are from the names of the original houses on the site from the late 16th and 17th century.

You're right about Mahon being a absolute hellhole though.

I would rather live on the Northside than live in Mahon, that's how bad it is.

That is one of the 3 bed end townhouses that are on sale for 310k. Not sure how it sold for 268k as the vendor told us they were non-negotiable as they were in the 80/20 scheme...

EDIT: The price on the property price register is ex-vat of 13%... so that would bring the sale price up to about 305k...
