Belfield Abbey, Boreenmanna road?

"Belfield" Where did they get that name? Another meaningless and pretentious address.

At least the Abbey part does have a connection with the historical "Bóithrín na Manach"

Better than Upper and Lower Kensington catapulted from London to Rochestown I suppose. :)


A lot of those names are from the names of the original houses on the site from the late 16th and 17th century.


We all cannot live on "Bobby Sands Terrace" :)
 
47 Belfield Abbey sold on 07/05/13 for €268,723.00
per the Property price register

That is one of the 3 bed end townhouses that are on sale for 310k. Not sure how it sold for 268k as the vendor told us they were non-negotiable as they were in the 80/20 scheme...

EDIT: The price on the property price register is ex-vat of 13%... so that would bring the sale price up to about 305k...
