Batsh*t Crazy Green Party

Maybe for some people they really think that the Green Party has been good.
In a country that produces nearly nothing including Automobiles Trains even Aviation this country relies heavily on other countries to invest.
That’s just a reality.
The roads are crap and yet they wanted more people to come to a country that doesn’t have the capacity just for simple aspects of life that cannot be caught up with.
Housing Health Infrastructure and a reliance on American investment in Ireland this country could go very badly wrong very soon.
When a country cannot afford to build enough housing affordable to those that have an income and yet you have to build homes that are not affordable for young people then you have a problem.
It’s all great being very good and being a leader of the green technology but it’s a contradiction in the sense that the country needs more housing infrastructure and housing and that’s a failure based on multiple levels including migration into a country that depends on foreign investment and none of it’s own.
If all the American companies just went back or just go to another country .
Imagine what does Ireland really have to be honest.
Nothing in production wise that is actually built or developed in this country to compete with any other country even in Europe.

You've just got to luv the humour of folks in Mahon...

Two cyclists, and in full gear, were spotted on the new cycle lanes yesterday.

Lads were running along beside them offering bottles of water, motorists were beeping their horns, and pedestrians stopped to clap them along.

To be fair the lads cycling got the joke...

They won't do it again. 🚲

The latest estimate, by an EPA expert on RTE 1 radio this morning, of where we will be by 2030 when we are supposed to be down 50% on our Greenhouse gasses is 23 or 24%. And then we will be due (in 5 years time) to pay GARGANTUAN fines of many Billions for falling short of the ludicrously unachievable targets that were set

It's so typically Green - promise something and then wring their hands when reality bites home. All fine and well if it's just the Greenies getting thrown out of office unceremoniously - but we're saddled with eye-watering fines for not achieving targets that anyone could have told you were unachievable in reality

Well put 👏

There's nothing pragmatic about reversing policies which are based on the science which tells us that we need to urgently move away from fossil fuels.
