Batsh*t Crazy Green Party

Party does exactly what it's elected to do, and said it would.

Electorate: 'No, not like that'.

Piling on carbon taxes on fuel when it was already at sky high prices, the recycling scheme, 'integration' lol, destroying electric car rollout, the unwanted and roundly rejected referendum, blocking road developments, insane spending on cycle networks.

Take your pick. The people saw what they selling and told them to get f*cked.

Good riddance. A detestable shower of wankers.

They probably achieved more of their manifesto or red lines than any party ever, particularly for a small party in a coalition. However electing Rodders as leader probably lost them what remained of "give them a 2nd or 3rd preference" voters.
Looking at their first preferences numbers, their own hardcore support deserted them in droves as well.

Where did it get them?

It's all well and good using shock and awe tactics but if you do it in a way that alienates almost the entire electorate then you're on a hiding to nothing.

The are what they are. A bunch of spoofers who made up policy on the hoof and lacked the qualification or qualities to sell it to the public.

Delighted for Neasa a woman so stupid she negotiated a program for government and once drawn up immediately objected to its terms.

Climate change is no doubt one of the pressing topics of our time but all the Greens in office achieved was to piss people off by hurting them in the pocket. Given the short span to halt temperature rises their short game politics were irresponsible and have ultimately done their agenda in Ireland far more harm than good.

Rodders is a total dickhead. Him sat on his own in the Dail warms my heart.

The Greens will need a reset after the next election, get back to the core values of the Green movement and tone down the wokeness a few notches, we need an environmentally aware political party in this country to provide balance and give voters a choice other than FF, FG and SF who always put short term electoral gain ahead of all other considerations.

FF and FG are now virtually indistinguishable from each other, they're openly planning to use the upcoming (giveaway) budget as a springboard for the next election, if SF were in government they'd do the same.

^On point 6 months ago.

Ironic that ROG is the sole survivor considering the damage he has done to the party as a minister.

We've lost decent TDs like Malcolm Noonan who at least tried to put in place green policies.
