Bantry scribe in the papers

Robert O'Sullivan seems to have felt obliged to let Examiner readers know his opinion on everything. It stopped after a few years - don't know whether he stopped writing his letters to the editor or the Examiner stopped publishing them.

There was another clown with a Muskerry Estate address who indulged in this for a while too.

As I understand it he was a stay at home single father, he may not of had much of a social life. The letters page if any newspaper is never compelling reading at the best of times but neither is it mandatory. Just move on if it's not for you.

If course it's quite possible he started posting long essay like posts on the PROC and didn't have time to be writing to the Examiner on a daily basis.

🤔
Back in the 1980s there was a prize asshole from Bandon always writing to The Examiner and Echo. I can't remember his name but it could have been AP, JP or PP something or other.
