The HSE have a modern equivalent on the site now. Forget what it’s called but full of teenage kids detained under the mental health act, many against their families wishes.
I know of one case where a Dad fought the HSE for 2 years to get his daughter out of there after they took the girl off her mother and put her there. Daughter was perfectly fine bar PTSD as a result and got 600 points in the Leaving etc

Then there are stories like this absolute legend who was involved with running an underground Railroad for young women to get them to England.
