Anti social activity in the city.. ekk

You are aware I trust that the guy who owns that place is the same guy over on the cyclist forum.

He has a fetish for recording his own crotch while cycling his bike.

I mean just think of all that sweat and what exactly is that white sauce like stuff 🤔.

I will never darken the door of that place again 🤮🤮🤮🤮
You have to separate the artist from the art like....

while driving past Centra on Grand Parade last night there was a cop van outside and lots of gardai - escorting lads out of the shop... more trouble..
that store is always getting grief from these folk..
I know its a city and this stuff has been happening for ever but its defo out of control these days.. seems to be something every other day

I was walking down Pana one morning and there was this girl who looked showered covered up in a sleeping bag outside Marks. I thought wtf. She didn't look typically homeless.

I think the uprise in these antisocial incidents is as a result of fewer and fewer gardai on the beat, hell even gardai out and about in cars or on bikes.

I'm in town a couple of times a week (no not drinking before you ask) and the amount of undead hassling people is happening more and more. They pick their targets though, usually people physically smaller or who from their body language look easily intimidated and in less busy streets.

It's a crying shame that our streets are being taken over by these hordes of ne'erdowells, and worse still that the rank and file gardai seem unwilling/unable (delete as appropriate) to do anything about it. So much for our new Garda Commissioner promising more gardai on the street.

Time was though that a Garda's pay and conditions were such that they could afford a house and it was seen as a good permanent and pensionable job. That's no longer the case.

There are plenty Gardai around but they're just not really interested in the scumbags around the City centre. They are more interested in motorists and fining people for various different reasons. If there was a protest or maybe a big GAH match below in PUR they'd be out in their droves.

Also yer man that replaced McPolin is useless. He's actually worse than McPolin who was fairly useless himself.

Can honestly say that in my last three saunters home through town I've not seen a single garda. My mate and I were discussing this and said we'd keep a tally of how many we could spot in our roughly 20 minute walk, other than on Anglesea Street itself which we pass on the way home.

Not seen a garda checkpoint in quite a few weeks either.
