This is where it's gonna get tricky. Probably need to give it a season for a proper sample size.

Technically, VORP uses a ficticious player who is average for everything as the comparison. So we'd have to take the average goals scored by your average striker and the average assists for the average striker over the course of a season to use for the calculation.

Actually, it's probably more a Courtois/Cesc/Costa effect.
