Alba V Eire TG4 anois, shinty.

Its like club hurling in Mayo on a wet day. Worth a watch and it does vaguely resemble a game you know.

These Scotch would be great for sideline cuts.

Nice goal there at the end. Definite penalty to Alba late on. It hasn't quite got the same pull as the crossover with AFL, but its a worthwhile event.

Its the second time I have seen this. The upright stance of the scots when striking the ball could be something we could learn from for sideline cuts. I know its to do with the shape or the caman, but could there be a special sideline cut caman? Or is that taking things a little too far.

Was actually a decent game! Rebelbhoy, another thing we could learn from is the ground hurling. They've obvious superior ground skills and if worked on could be used to win a lot of possession leading to more scores. I enjoyed it. Some session in Inverness tonight I'd say.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game too, but it is for precicely the reasons that you commended that made me think of a poor hurling game. Just thats how poor hurling games pan out rather than the skil involved in ground Hurling. You are spot on. It would be interesting to see a bounce match using exactly those rules with more elite players to see how good the ground game is. Especially interesting the way the game has gone over the last few years.
