50th Anniversary of Internment

Sinn Fein like anniversities-opportunity to spin like the tribute by Michelle O Neill on the 40th anniversy of of the Death of Thomas McElwee, who starved himself to death-what a hero! He even lost an eye when one of the firebombs that he was transporting exploded-what a hero! he had most of his mission completed as one of his firebombs incinerated a clothes shop including Yvonne
Dunlop a 26 year old mother of three. Firebombing Protestant family clothes shops-what a hero!

Huge whataboutery overload indeed

On a thread about the anniversary of internment in the north where it was only nationalists arrested, and detained without charge, and in many cases tortured, only the subsequent excesses of Republicans being mentioned.

1. What happened with your IRA in 1969?

2. What name did your IRA become known as after this split ?

3. Why was the split necessary?

Internment was essentially the British government locking up Irish people in jails without any trial or court hearing.

People were locked up for nothing more than being Irish. Imagine if they started locking up Muslims in Bradford or East London.

Some people don’t seem to realise just how vicious the British were in relatively recent history here in Ireland.

Yes, but of course the Scum Provos had absolutely nothing at all to do with it.

:lol!::lol!: you must be like a lad with Parkinsons with all that rattling.

No I do not.

All this is showing is the complete brain washing that SF/IRA have had on the likes of you and Soundy.

Poor Soundy, he claims he knows all about Irish history but for whatever reason he just cannot answer some questions I have posed to him 7 times now about 1969.
