Has anyone any knowledge of how. TV And Radio audience listernship ship is calculated. Has any been polled to guage what is big listenership etc.

No idea, would love to think that exact figures are available due to smart TV's and digital signals etc.

I wish that the likes of RTE were paid according to true viewing figures, that would take the wind out of their sails

I have no knowledge of how but I do have knowledge of this new invention called Google, it is what is known as a search engine. You just type in what info you need to know and hey presto it appears on the screen in front of you, almost like magic. You could try there, just click on this link, www.google.ie

I think it's like polling, they have say a thousand people in a group that they ring. It's not an exact science
