2026 Premier Senior Hurling Championship

I agree. They have been very impressive!

Barrs might have the size and physicality to stay with them though and they have Buckley and Hayes!

but have we the intensity? alot of games in cork are very loose, Kanturk wont allow us that time and space

If cork have any team capable of making an impact in Munster club it’s the Barrs. Are Newtown 2009 the last cork club to win Munster?

11 weeks ban for this.

My comment was in reference to someone calling for Ben Cunningham to be starting for Cork next year.

I will now receive a ban for discussing bans as someone here received recently. What a kip this place has become.

Reserved for the few posters who argue here daily, break the rules and yet remain here without ban. It’s almost as if there’s a poster here that’s an admin

True. They were still the best club in Cork that year though. AND MUNSTER

I personally think Midelton and the Barrs *should* win but the battling and fighting qualities of the Glen and Kanturk make these games very hard to call. I think the Barrs have the best panel in terms of quality in the county but unfortunately I'm unsure if they have the fight that Kanturk will bring to this game. I don't want to offend but I think the Barrs and Blarney are akin to our senior hurlers when the battle gets going I'm unsure if they have what it takes sometimes to really go to the well and grind out the result. Would love to be proven wrong on this as it would only be beneficial for cork hurling and all i want is for cork to win Liam/Sam again.

Barrs v Kanturk - I am going to go with the Barrs by the minimum. Kanturk are excellent and underrated. Huge men who are good hurlers and bring a serious amount of passion. Being honest unsure about the quality of their depth, they have a small pick so think Barrs will edge it because of this. Would love to see Kanturk win as it would be a breath of fresh air.

Midleton v The Glen - I think midleton will win here. I have seen them a few times and have been impressed by them. I have only seen the glen against the rockies and was unimpressed but they have a super team on paper and might have been very good in other games so not confident in my own call.

Cant wait for these two games.
