Good addition for the Barrs. He should be a solid senior club hurler for them. I don't think he will go any further than that.

It's obviously disappointing for his home club who have made good progess recently, but at least the relationship seems to be cordial if he's still playing football for them.

Does this case highlight the benefit of divisions? If Carbery had as professional a set up as Imokilly and were as competitive would he be happy to stay with his club and play with his division?

On the Cork team v Galway there were 2 Glen and 1 Blackrock players ( in addition a further 2 St Finbarrs and 1 Glen in the reserves) not a huge representation from City Clubs ( No Sars players are they classified City or County)

Kerry hurler, and Brian Murphy's brother, Evan's transfer to Sars seems to have slipped through the cracks did it? Rumoured last year but looks to have been finalised now. Darcy mentions at the end here they'll be missing him for the league while he's playing with Kerry
