No. A lad can't play with divisional and UCC
I know it’s different to the question asked, but interestingly there are examples of players playing for UCC in the county championship instead of their own senior club.

This isn’t today or yesterday. Ray Cummins won a county with UCC in 1970, I’m not sure if he played against Blackrock or not.
There’s probably other examples too but Ray is the one I know of.

I don’t know if it was the players choice, a county board ruling, or if it was a condition of being on a sport bursary, but it seems bizarre that a scenario like that could occur and I’m glad that it no longer happens.

There was a college rule at the time where you had to play for the college.
That was repealed in the mid eighties
