Adam Sherlock from cloyne done well I thought, looks abrasive and physical. Cillian o callaghan and Jack leahy were very good. Leahy got MOTM. Healy did okay.Who would you say stood out?
No. A lad can't play with divisional and UCCCan a cork lad play for UCC alongside playing for his division? If he’s from a senior club, is he excluded from playing?
mmmmmm NOJust seen the echo team of the week what about the composed Cian hogan for bride in goal he is always saving there bacon a mountain of a man, stuck a couple of frees. Needs a look in with cork
I know it’s different to the question asked, but interestingly there are examples of players playing for UCC in the county championship instead of their own senior club.No. A lad can't play with divisional and UCC
There was a college rule at the time where you had to play for the college.I know it’s different to the question asked, but interestingly there are examples of players playing for UCC in the county championship instead of their own senior club.
This isn’t today or yesterday. Ray Cummins won a county with UCC in 1970, I’m not sure if he played against Blackrock or not.
There’s probably other examples too but Ray is the one I know of.
I don’t know if it was the players choice, a county board ruling, or if it was a condition of being on a sport bursary, but it seems bizarre that a scenario like that could occur and I’m glad that it no longer happens.
