I still think this merits a red as the Easkey player shows no care for his opponent(or himself) and causes the dangerous (head to head ) contact by charging at high speed as the player goes down over the ball. The other incident was quite different as the Kb defender met an Easkey forward with a shoulder to the chest as he came through. Extra time in the other match. I didnt see the disallowed goal but if the forward is fouled that doesnt allow him to take steps.

Ah yeah. Junior clubs and a lot of club 2nd teams are taking things very seriously these days tbh. The days of getting away with being unfit are almost close to gone unless a player has dropped down a couple of grades or has ridiculous talent.

The effort and expense now to prepare club teams from Senior to junior is no joke!

Ah yeah. Junior clubs and a lot of club 2nd teams are taking things very seriously these days tbh. The days of getting away with being unfit are almost close to gone unless a player has dropped down a couple of grades or has ridiculous talent.

The effort and expense now to prepare club teams from Senior to junior is no joke!

The 2cd teams get taken extremely seriously now in all clubs with any bit of ambition. They're used as development teams in a lot of clubs especially with the U21 been played so late in the year.
The stream lining of the grades has been great for this as has the introduction of the inter divisional Jr B county championship.
