Of the 2 carbey teams left Argideen would be favorites .out of football and a few of their top players back since their defeat to barryroe and they always seem to have what it takes on the big stage .barryroe seem to have weathered last yrs issues well and have a letal forward line up but a suspect defense could be their undoing as well as being still involved in football .not ruling out any of the 4 left tho but it could be Catherine's yr

Should Newtown not be Junior A if they won the north cork Junior B last year ?

there is no official promotion / relegation between Junior A and Junior B. Had Newtown won the county final, i assume they would have decided to go up.

Amazing how one game can so much alter a clubs pathway. Last years junior A county final could have gone either way. Now Kilshannig have a chance to go Intermediate while Ballinora couldn't even get out of their group in the muskerry championship. Just shows you must take your chance, none of this lose one to win one cliche that gets thrown around.

From what I recall Kilshannig were eliminated at the group stage the following year they lost their 1st county final. It’s the hardest county to win due to the sheer amount of games required to get there. Ballinora will get there in the end.
