2026 Premier Junior Hurling Championship

St. Catherine's looked impressive v Milford. They have a really good spine with O' Riordan, Fitzgerald, 2 O' Donoghue and Mangan as well as Davis in goals of course.

Kilshannig taken to this grade by storm. They are strong, physical and well able for teams. They've some excellent hurlers in the Twomeys etc.

They seem to be the 2 standouts so far.

Kilshannig should win this grade out, I actually think Newmarket would win this if they were in it as well, just shows how tough it is to get out of junior a.

Lot of lording of Kilshannig on here. The Glen are shocking and lost by more to Ballygarvan. They’re in the running for sure but saying they’ll win it out after two games is naive to how competitive this grade is.

Ballygiblin & Erin's Own both won this championship the season after winning Junior A county.
Nemo got to semi finals the year after winning also.
There is a lot of Junior A teams currently that would go well in this grade.
St Catherines, Kilshannig , Ballygarvan ,Barryroe. The winner will come from one of them IMO!

There's a good few grades where there seems to be a backlog of talent alright. Junior A is probably the most prevelant, this grade typically does well in the intermediate A's and the premier intermediates and senior A grades are very similar in quality imo.

Kilshannig vs ballygarvan should be a cracker, barryroe going under the radar abit but would question have they been properly tested yet, albeit they’ll gain big confidence from defeating their neighbours.
Catherine’s going well in what is a very tough group, with all to play for still there
