I saw SOD only played 20 mins last night. Seems they grounded out a good win.
Credit to Glenville, they came on some amount in 12 months.

Sean is a fine footballer and would be a huge plus for them if he gets back to full fitness .

Canovee overrated. Thumped an understrength Nicks but only drew with Kilmacabea who Nicks subsequently beat.

Kilmacs missing gore and he only came on for the last ten mins not fully fit, was gone off after five mins against canovee.

Nicks deserved their win on Friday night, were more clinical when it mattered most, Jack O Sullivan is a great bit of stuff. Kilmacs without Gore werent a threat in the 2nd half but they still went out fighting.

Expect Nicks or Canovee to be in the final with probably Cobh as their opponents

I assume if it was Urhan to go down they would end up in the Carbery championship rather than just in limbo until the county championship ?

By the report on the examiner Nicks had a real “we’re not leaving today without a win” attitude. Would be great to see them go one further this year as it has been particularly challenging for them this year as we saw on Brosnan’s interview this week.

Na Piarsaigh will now be playing Junior A in Cork City next year. The 6th tier of Cork football. Think thats their 3rd relegation since 2023 when they were Prem Int. Some fall.
