Inside forward I'd say.Whats his best position Micky?
The propsed Luas route is crossing over the entrance to the club just as you enter the car park. And construction is only due to start in 5 years time at the earliest, cant see how its going to effect their performances on the pitch in the next few years.Bishopstown now relegated from this grade , it was short lived . With the plans for the proposed metro coming right through their club house ( or at least says local politician Mr Buttimer ) , it could be time for a complete re think of where they are going especially if the Ballinora surge will ever kick off at hurling .
Missed U20 due to injury. Was a big lossO Callaghan seems to do wreck in the first 10 minutes of games before dissapearing a bit from the game
He is definitely worth developing at inter county level
Saw Canice Walsh referee 2 weeks ago, best referee I've seen in a long time. Exactly what you said, left it go and pulled frees for the obvious. Saw players from both teams going up to him and thanking him after. He seems to be the real deal.Thought the ref in the Dungourney-Aghabullogue game was brilliant as well.
There was some very decent tough hits went in but he left the game flow. Canice Walsh. Dunno where he’s from.
A fussy ref would have ruined it and turned it into a free taking competition. Hopefully that becomes the norm in club hurling to familiarise the players to IC level.
Duns had the better touch and hurling over the hour. Aghabullogue only brought on Danno and Corkery due to injury. They had a good run last year with not many injuries but the high intensity games caught up with them this year losing 5 starters.
O Callaghan is a handful but a bit raw. He’s young so that can be worked on.
He did wreck early on but Ring was able to do a job on him after he was switched on to him.
Great game overall and a great advertisement for the grade
