Obviously lads are allowed go to EP and do whatever they want in their spare time but let's be honest, any players serious about progressing through the championship are not going to a festival less then a week out from a game.
They have a big game coming up against Sars Friday night. Their looking like shoo-ins for a relegation final at the moment. For a club that got to 2 All Ireland Jr finals in a row as recently as 2023 thats very poor and I wouldn't blame the manager for being livid and then to have the WhatsApp leaked tops it all off. Who'd be a manager


Mark Keane obviously a huge loss. How's Darragh Flynn playing for them these times?

Flynn injured and Cathail O Mahony too. Funnily enough they could easily be playing for a semi-final spot Friday night if one of the two had been fit.

They'll be doing well to get a decent coach next year so if the players are the ones leaking the whatsapp messages.

Haven’t seen the messages but from what people have said about them, it seems that the manager should have said this at training or at a meeting rather than in a WhatsApp group. At the very least I think it would be more effective to say it in person.

I wasn’t commenting on what was said in the messages, I was commenting on the subject of the messages which was a lack of commitment from players and how it would be more effective to highlight this in person rather than via WhatsApp

You contact the players lacking commitment to arrange a meeting or discuss the issue on a phone call rather than broadcast the issue in a groupchat with 30/40 people.
