A lot of young players making the team this year as some of the older lads move on.
Cathail O Mahony was very impressive but did leave the pitch early.
Buttevant 2-17 Glanworth 0-3. A damning result for Glanworth. A real proud club but seem to be struggling badly this year. They will be doing well to avoid relegation. Buttevant on the other hand are on an upward trajectory and taking this grade in their stride.

Glanworth vs Ilen- glanworth look dead and buried this year but how many years have we said that- Ilen need to respond and I think they will but it won’t be pretty- Ilen by 3
Kilmurry vs buttevant- maybe a county final curtain raiser. Will be a very tight game to call but buttevant having the forwards they do should shade it. Kilmurry also down a few by all accounts. Buttevant by 2
Dromtarriffe vs Gabriel rangers- two teams with no points on the board and both disappointing in their first round game, Gabriel’s should have to much quality however. I think paddy Driscoll may still be in America but regardless Gabriel’s should win. Gabriel’s by 7
Mitchestown vs Barrs- impossible to call as both these teams have different conundrums. Barrs being a second team and mtown with injuries. Cathal o Mahoney doubtful but still think mtown will have enough. Mtown by 6
Adrigole vs boherbue- very difficult game to call. Two very evenly matched teams but I think adrigole have more quality going forward. Could go either way. Adrigole by 1
Bandon vs Kildorrey - Kildorrey look set for a relegation final if they fail to pick up a result here. Bandon also need to bounce back after a poor showing against adrigole. This one is simple. Bandon by 10 plus
Side note, every winner of round one is playing each other in this grade meaning there should be no dead rubbers in R3
