They'll surely go close this year. Senior hurling involvement is the only thing that might hinder them, picking up injuries and playing nearly every week for next 2 months. But with the 3 inter county Walshs, Tommy, Paul and Alan they have a very strong spine and will take some beating.

Hard to know what constitutes a shock at this grade. CNM and Kanturk losing would be, probably Eire Og too. Ross would be favourites against Skibb, but it’s a local derby that hasn’t happened in a while so could throw up anything.
