The final will be some contest, the two best teams in the grade by a distance. Not sure how Dano dineen hasn’t been in the cork team the last couple of years. He’s consistently been the best player I’ve seen in the Cork club championship the last couple of years.

I thought it was a square ball at the game, but it was dealt with terribly by Beal Atha regardless.

Ballingeary suffered from missing their regular goal keeper through injury, the stand in was an out field player who apparently had never played in goals before, which is a bit of a gamble to take in a County semi final.

Knocknagree clearly benefited from being hardened by the Kanturk match, much more physical and on their heels. But that only served to make it less of a contest, they were a level above.

Cill Na Martra are strong but KNG have a bit more about them I think. CNM could be 10 up or 10 down coming into the last 10 minutes and you can still guarantee it'll be a one score game at the end.

@Reservedcitizen summed it up well. It doesn't matter if a club can sustain long-term in the top tier.

Would Knocknagree, Éire Óg or Cill Na Martra offer more to the PSFC than Valley Rovers, Carbery Rangers or St. Michaels did this year? Even if a club just makes it for 1-2 years, would that help inspire another generation there?

You could have another 2 week break and have the winner of the PSFC playoff play the runner-up of the SAFC final.

Eire og were relegated last year and poor again yesterday so what have they to offer up in senior.
2022 which is only 3 yrs ago st michaels won the senior A and beat knocknagree in the final so surely Micheals have the right to compete .Let's give michaels a chance as they trying to improve football down in Blackrock.
This is knocknagree year to make the jump as they like Cill Na matra need to win . Time running out
