I couldn’t tell you the difference between an East Cork accent and a moderate Cork City accent. Probably true as far as Dungarvan tbf.

Distinguishing features of East Cork would be ability to identify a Fresian from a Simmental, beating up Cork City hurlers, possibly Protestant, total contempt for football.

Yeah is the mildest accent in Cork tbf, no idea what the previous poster was on about with a west Cork h joke.

East Cork is good hurling, good fishing and beaches, good land and crap traffic at LittleIsland, Castlemartyr and Killeagh...

Only caught a bit of it, but the Tipp match on the telly was an appalling standard.

Was going to post about it earlier. Thought it was a poor game, slow, error and free ridden. Not a good advertisement for the sport on national TV.

If it was a Cork club game the self flagellation and self hatred on here from some about the standard of Cork hurling would be unbearable.
