2025 Premier Senior Hurling Championship

It’s like asking Alexa for the weather forecast.

‘A heatwave with a chance of snow and rain’

I've suspicions that man was replaced by an AI bot a few years back and the transition has been seamless. In fairness he's ok in the Echo podcast but his articles are so utterly predictable. You learn nothing from them and there's little or no insight.

A few of the younger Echo writers are decent when it comes to stats and a bit of analysis. You'd come away with something but Horgan's stuff is so fluffy.

Denis Hurley is decent and gives good analysis and is well connected in Cork GAA circles but the rest aren’t great imo

Christy O'Connor is v good when analysing a specific match. Jack McKay writes a mix of v annoying articles and nice stats-based ones.

I think the standard of the Echo match reports on club games, especially underage, has been ok this year. A bit more of an effort to describe how each team did overall rather then just list the scorers in the order in which they scored.

The echo podcast would make you tear your hair out. Eamon Murphy just talks over everyone. Skipping from Premier Junior to Senior back to Intermediate. No structure at all.
Brian Roche and Conor Lehane not making it is mad. Be wondering what they were watching. Mark Coleman played well but there were better performers over the weekend.
Eoin Moloney ruptured achilles so a long time on the sidelines for him. He will be a huge loss.
